Freshly Cut for Your Pleasure

Years ago before skinny ties were popular again, I decided to make my own using one of the vintage ties my mother thankfully kept in our basement. Not entirely sure how to go about it, my first instinct was to cut.

This proved to be incorrect.

Not to be dissuaded, I took the shredded cloth that was once my grandfather's pride and joy and began to stitch. I decided that if I couldn’t make a sleek-looking skinny tie, I would intentionally use opposing colors and make the stitching bold, therefore not only fixing the tie but drawing attention to it.

This proved to be correct.

Each cut by wesley tie is a reshaped and hand sewn one-of-a-kind original. You have the only one like it in the world (and quite possibly the universe, depending). We use vintage ties dated as far back as the 1930’s. By “up-cycling" society’s neck-wear, cut by wesley is also an eco-friendly designer.
